EventScript is a great little plugin by Softwares for Humans which does one thing, but it does it great! Script scheduling and triggering from calculation fields. From the developer’s website: It’s the missing link between calculations and ‘perform script’.
I’m sure many people would agree it’s something that maybe FileMaker should of integrated as a default feature by now, but as long as there are plugins like EventScript then it doesn’t matter!
You can use the plugin to run scripts before a field is entered or when a user leaves a field and even run scripts on mouse-over in FileMaker 8+ thanks to the new tooltip features!
This is definitely a great plugin and I’ve found a great use it a few times now and to make things even better its totally free! The developers does ask for donations if you’ve found the plugin useful and who can argue with that!

How does it function with IWP?
